The degree in Management at ISEG, one of the first in the country, has a teaching staff of excellence – with PhD professors from several national and foreign universities and guest professors – who combine scientific, technical and market knowledge skills.
The study plan for the degree in Management provides solid training for future managers, with a comprehensive curriculum structure that articulates the disciplines core in Management, such as Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources Management, Production Management and Information Systems, with equally central areas in Management training, such as Economics, Mathematics and Social Sciences.
With this degree you will:
It trains students in communication, negotiation and collaboration skills, so that they are able to face the challenges of working in different types of organizations in economic and financial life, both in the national and international context. Management degree, it is possible to obtain a Minor if you select 18 ECTS of optional curricular units within the same area (e.g. Minor in Finance, Minor in Strategic Management and Marketing, among others).
Every year, the course offers a range of optional courses which address current issues in organizations, allowing you to personalize your training and acquire specialized, relevant and innovative knowledge that will set you apart in the job market. Some examples of optional curricular units: Digital Marketing and Social Media, Investment Analysis, International Business Management, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, Sustainable Human Resources Management, or Innovation Management.
Another optional curricular unit is Internship, This allows you to apply the knowledge acquired in a real work context, develop practical skills and create a network of professional contacts, facilitating your integration into the market.

Once you have decided to join the degree and paid the 1st installment of tuition fees to guarantee your place, you can issue the letter of acceptance on the FENIX Portal. This document will be required later on to apply for a Student Visa.
The student visa must be requested at the nearest Embassy or at a Portuguese consular post in the country of origin.
The results of surveys regularly applied to recent graduates by ISEG indicate an employability level of 90% in the 6 months after the end of the degree (and 35% of students are already employed even before the end of the degree).

The degree also opens up the possibility of continuing studies, at the level of the 2nd cycle, to deepen a functional specialization (for example, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources Management, Accounting, Information Systems).
