On 18 December, at 17.00, the first public presentation will take place of the catalogue Cooperation Alphabet - Concepts, Stories, Images, a project developed by Association for Cooperation Among Peoples (ACEP) in partnership with Centre for Africa and Development Studies (CEsA/ISEG Research) and the Department of Social, Political and Territorial Sciences of Universidade de Aveiro (DCSPT/UAveiro).
The initiative brings together 26 key concepts linked to Development Cooperation, presented through multiple interpretations by researchers, journalists, illustrators and photographers from Portugal, Europe and Portuguese Cooperation partner countries. The catalogue received financial support from the Camões - Institute for Cooperation and Language.
The public presentation of the catalogue, accompanied by the opening of the exhibition of the same name, will take place at the ACEP headquarters, located at Rua de S. Bento 222, in Lisbon, opposite the Parliament.
The purpose of the event is to promote a moment of open dialogue with civil society, reflecting on the challenges and opportunities of Portuguese Cooperation in an international context that is increasingly complex and adverse to solidarity and cooperation between peoples.
Free admission.
