Below, we share a text about Julia, kindly prepared by Professor Joanna Santiago, coordinator of MiM and supervisor of the student's final master's work.
"It is with deep sorrow and immense sadness that we received the news of the tragic passing of Julia Catharina Franke. Julia passed away unexpectedly on February 24th in Munich, leaving us in shock and grief.
Julia had already submitted her final master's work and, as a result of her dedication and academic excellence, had a paper based on her dissertation accepted for presentation at the International Institute of Knowledge Management conference. Her dedication, intelligence, and committed spirit left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.
In this moment of deep sorrow, we extend our sincerest condolences to Julia’s family, friends, and colleagues. Her memory will remain alive among us, as an exemplary student and a person of great value.
The School would like to pay tribute to Julia, recognising her academic journey and the positive impact she has had on our community. Rest in peace, Julia. You'll always be in our memory".
