From January 8th, ULisboa will have a new ally for the psychological well-being of its student community: the UMIND powered by Mindout.
UMIND provides ULisboa students with the application of the Mindout (Google Play / Apple Store), created specifically to help prevent burnout, manage academic stress and take care of mental health.
✨ And the best part?
Membership is completely free, allowing each ULisboa student to use the app for a month, free of charge. With practical content, simple exercises and tools designed for everyday university life, the application Mindout helps them to stop, take a breath and rediscover the balance between their studies, personal life and rest. The application also allows each student to carry out a self-assessment of their psychological condition and, according to the results obtained, they can be referred to the University of Lisbon's psychology services, guaranteeing adequate and timely support. Why taking care of your mental health is just as important as studying.
🔐 Attention to access
You can only log in to the application using your ULisboa EDU email address and your original institutional credentials. If you need to recover your password, you can do so by HERE.

The accelerated growth in the potential and widespread availability of Artificial Intelligence tools poses new and demanding challenges for Higher Education Institutions.
These include the need to define guidelines that promote the informed, responsible and ethically sound use of these technologies, the need to ensure adequate training for the entire academic community and the inevitability of exploring the potential of Artificial Intelligence as an ingredient in the pedagogical strategies to be adopted.
In this context, Universidade de Lisboa invites the entire academic community to take part in the IA Conference, on 13 January, in the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas, starting at 09.00.
This event aims to be a space for reflection and dialogue on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on Higher Education, promoting the sharing of concerns, approaches, experiences and solutions, fostering moments of debate and collaborative work between professors, researchers, technical and administrative staff, and students.
Free admission, subject to registration.

The study of pedestrian accessibility focused on people's experiences and perceptions, through walk-along interviews, complements the more quantitative approaches. As part of the AccessCity4All project, the challenges faced by families with children and the elderly in Lisbon were identified. Problems such as degraded sidewalks and unsafe intersections contrast with the appreciation of green and blue spaces along the routes. In general, while families with children prioritize safety in their journeys, the elderly tend to look for shorter routes. This analysis reinforces the importance of incorporating the daily experience of residents when defining mobility policies that are more inclusive and tailored to the local context.
The AccessCity4All project explores the concept of the “15 Minute City” to evaluate urban accessibility in five European cities: Lisbon, Vienna, Münster, Groningen and Ankara. Using open data, we analyzed access to essential services (health, education, commerce, leisure and sport) in three modes of travel: on foot, by public transport and by car.
The “Tuesday Talks” are a series of monthly conferences promoted by theMOV network, which aims to create a space for debate and sharing around urban mobility and its multiple challenges and dimensions.
The call for PhD scholarships is now open, within the scope of European University Unite!, under the existing partnership protocol between FCT and ULisboa, until December 20, 2025.
