The event will be attended by the author, Paulo Trigo Pereira, teachers Alexandre Quintanilha , and Vital Moreira, and will be moderated by Maria Lopes (Público).
According to the author, this book essentially addresses how the performance of Portuguese democracy can be improved to face the immediate, more visible challenges, and the long-term ones, taking into account the transformations of the regime that have been taking place in recent decades. It also reaffirms the need to renew "parliamentary democracy, what it should be, what it is and how we can improve it".
