He is attending the first year of his PhD in Performance in the class of Professor Pedro Burmester at the University of Aveiro. In 2012 she obtained a Master's Degree in Performance from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London, in the piano classes of professors Martin Roscoe and Peter Bithell.

In 2011 he premiered Christopher Bochman's "Double Dialogue" for two pianos and two percussionists. In November of the same year he was awarded the title of "Highly Commended" in the Guildhall's internal competition "Beethoven Piano Prize". He began his musical studies at the age of six with Carlos Gama. He began his piano learning at the age of 10 in the class of Professor João Paulo Cunha at the Regional Conservatory of Castelo Branco, having been awarded twice with the First Prize in the Internal Competitions "Lopes Graça".

He won the third prize in the International Competition of the City of Fundão, and was also awarded the prize for best interpreter of Beira Baixa in his category in 2005.

After finishing his studies at the Conservatory, he entered the National Superior Academy of Orchestra in 2006, in the piano class of Professor Alexei Eremine. In May 2007 he participated in the Castelo Branco International Festival "Primavera Musical". In October of the same year he performed Beethoven's Triple Concerto solo with the Orquestra Académica Metropolitana. He also recorded for Antena 2 the Trio in G minor by Smetana.

In July 2010, he finished his degree in Piano and Piano for Accompaniment and Chamber Music with a maximum grade. In September 2011, he won the 2nd prize of the Young Musicians Award competition in the soloist category - higher level.

He is a founding member, together with violinist Carla Santos, of the Dryads Duo, winner of the 1st prize of the Young Musicians Award - 2011 - in the category of Chamber Music - superior level. The Dryads Duo recorded its first CD in September 2012. From her solo work, we highlight the inaugural recital of the Cycle "Explanação da Ausência" at the Cineteatro de Castelo Branco in November 2012 and the inaugural recital of the "Ciclo Piano EDP 2013" at Sala Suggia da Casa da Música, in January this year.

He has participated in master classes with Luís Pipa, Miguel Henriques, Wayne Marshall, Alexei Eremine, Galina Egiazarova, Dominique Merlet, Gabriel Chodos and Vladimir Viardo. He has a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and continues to teach privately with Professor Peter Bithell.
