We will host the musician António Carrilho on the 30th May, in the CGD Auditorium, as part of the Antena 2 concert cycle, which is recorded at ISEG.
António Carrilho divides his musical activity between recordings and conducting, covering a repertoire that ranges from the Italian Trecento to the most recent music of nowadays, without, nevertheless, neglecting to interpret and transcribe the music of the 19th century.
The musician will play works by Johann Sebastian Bachwhose timelessness has led artists all over the world to play and rewrite the composer's work. The existing recordings are the result of many years of research and deepening of the interpreters' knowledge. Bach's work has accompanied António Carrilho throughout his career, having transcribed many emblematic works for recording.
The concert starts at 19.00, in the CGD Auditorium (Quelhas, 2nd Floor).
