The Cultural Commission presents a chamber music concert by the Instituto Superior Técnico Student Camerata on June 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., in the ISEG CGD Auditorium.
The program promises a concert of exceptional musical quality, featuring works by F., Schubert, G. Mahler, G. Fauré, and others, with pianist Ricardo Pereira.
Pianist Ricardo Pereira began his music studies at age 5 at the Lugar da Música school in São Domingues de Benfica, and was directed toward piano the following year. At age 9, he enrolled at the Instituto Gregoriano de Lisboa, where he studied under Professor Lisa Tavares and completed the 8th Grade. He passed his artistic aptitude exam with a score of 18 while pursuing his first year of college at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Civil Engineering. He is currently a civil engineer registered with the Portuguese Order of Engineers, specializing in Structures, and continues his musical activities as a chorister in the University of Lisbon Chamber Choir and as a pianist in the Instituto Superior Técnico Student Camerata.
