Luso-Brazilian Dialogues | Science, Technology and Society

Join us on the December 4th, a National Library of Portugal hosts the 5th session of the conference cycle "Luso-Brazilian Dialogues", about Science, Technology and Society, with the participation of Professor Manuel Mira Godinho, Vice-President of ISEG.

This cycle of conferences places 'mano-a-mano' leading researchers, one Portuguese and one Brazilian, around central problems, theoretical and empirical, of Contemporary Political Economy.

This initiative is co-organized by the Centre for Studies on Africa and Development (CEsA) of the Higher Institute of Economics and Management (ISEG) of the University of Lisbon, the Centre for Studies on Socioeconomic Change and Territory (DINÂMIA'CET) of the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE), the Institute of Contemporary History (IHC) of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FCSH) of the New University of Lisbon; supported by the inter-institutional PhD in Political Economy (ULisboa, ISCTE and ISEG) and the Master in Human Resources Development Policies (ISCTE/IUL), by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), the Portuguese Association of Political Economy, the Center for Social Studies (CES) of the University of Coimbra and ISCTE; in partnership with the BNP and Casa da América Latina.

The session runs from 17:30 to 19:15.
