The new year begins with excellent news: we're expanding ISEG's mini-forest!
On 29 January, we will be planting the area adjacent to the ISEG mini-forest, following the same model as before: the Miyawaki method of urban reforestation.
The first area of the mini-forest, planted two years ago, has shown remarkable growth, visible to anyone who passes by. The strong participation of the community and ISEG's clear investment in this project have made this expansion possible, reinforcing the commitment to sustainability and urban biodiversity.
The workshop will take place on 29 January, in two periods, from 10:00 - 12:30 and from 14:00 - 17:00, to plant trees, shrubs, vines and herbaceous plants, as well as visiting the older mini-forest to follow its evolution.

The activity is open to all. Bring a friend, colleague or neighbour. Children are welcome, but need to be accompanied. We recommend bringing comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat and water.
