The lecture "Learning from Cycling Histories: Boom, Busts, and Renewal", as part of the project Hi-BicLab - History Lab for Sustainable Urban Mobilities: Lisbon's cycling policies.
The guest speaker is Ruth Oldenziel, professor at the Technical University of Eindhoven (Netherlands) and consultant for the project. Ruth Oldenziel is a renowned technology historian and editor of the book collection Cycling Cities, which will integrate the Lisbon case (one of the results of the project).
The Hi-BicLab project is funded by FCTto which ISEG and UECE/REM are associated as partners.
The event will take place on the ISEG Terrace between 17:00 and 19:00.
