On Saturday, 28 June, don't miss the "Mindfulness and Qi Gong (or Chi Kung) Workshop", from 9:30 to 12:30, at the Quinta das Conchas e dos Lilases Park, in Lisbon.
Develop your ability to concentrate and, consequently, your intuition, your perception of events and your decision-making skills in life's most difficult situations. Achieve a balance between body and mind and learn how to manage stress and improve your health and quality of life.
In this workshop, Professor João Carvalho das Neves (ISEG) combines the theory and practice of Mindfulness. The course includes energy management exercises (chi-kung) to improve your health and wellbeing, giving you tools for your daily life, with moments of interaction to clarify questions and doubts. The workshop is led by a Certified Teacher in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction by the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness Professional Training Institute and is an accredited Instructor in Chi-Kung by the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Lisbon).
Free admission, but places are limited. To take part in the workshop, please register by email to ritasilvacosta@hotmail.com.
Participants should preferably bring a yoga mat and a few items to share for lunch and socialising.
