Workshop | How to Integrate Human Rights in Cooperation Projects?

On May 6, a meeting will be held at ISEG. workshop about " How to Integrate Human Rights into Cooperation Projects", with Hemma Tengler, associate professor at the Catholic University of Mozambique in Beira City.

Hemma Tengler holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wales, Great Britain. She specializes in Rural Development and participatory planning. He has twenty five years of experience in managing International Cooperation development projects in Southern Africa, particularly in Mozambique, with emphasis on decentralization and good governance projects. At the Catholic University of Mozambique she introduced the online master course on HIV&AIDS and Health Management and was coordinator of the HIV&AIDS program of the University. 

The aim of this workshop is to analyze  the importance and application of the "human rights-based" development approach in development projects.

The workshop, organized by  CESA - Center for Studies on Africa, Asia and Latin America The event takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Edifer room (Ed. Quelhas, 2nd floor).
