On February 23, the Workshop "
University-Business Knowledge Transfer Management: Challenges for the future, taking into account the cases of Portugal, Spain and Brazil", between 09h00 and 17h30, in Auditorium 2 (Ed. Quelhas, 2nd floor).
This workshop is organized by ISEG and UECE - Research Unit on Complexity and Economics, with the support of INPI - National Institute of Industrial Property.
PRESENTATION
This workshop aims to identify lines of improvement for university-business (U-Business) knowledge transfer in Portugal, in a medium-term horizon.
In practical terms, the workshop should identify useful recommendations for the management of knowledge transfer units, economic exploitation and policy-making. Economic exploitation includes, in addition to the commercialization of knowledge through licensing, the creation of spin-off companies, joint U-E projects and other university extension activities.
