Relocal Plotina Workshop | Women as Agents of Local Transformation

The European projects (Horizon 2020) in which ISEG is a partner, the  RELOCAL in conjunction with the PLOTINUM , organize on the day January 22, 2020 an workshop on the role of women as agents of local transformation. The session will take place at ISEG's Closed Terrace (Quelhas Building), from 9h00 to 12h30.

The RELOCAL project (Resituating the local in cohesion and territorial development) focuses on issues of spatial justice and territorial cohesion, with a particular focus on local and community-based development models.

The PLOTINA project (Promoting gender balance and inclusion in research, innocation and training) focuses on gender equality issues in science, with a focus on universities and research.

The workshop is organized in two panels: the first panel addresses the challenges and obstacles to women's participation and representation in local governance; the second panel, aims to showcase some good practices, programs and initiatives to promote women's participation and representation in local leadership and transformation.
