Biography
Cristina Requejo is Associate Professor at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management and is a researcher at CEMAPRE/REM.
She holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research and Statistics and an M.Sc. in Operations Research, both from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. She has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Coimbra.
Her research interests include integer programming, combinatorial optimization, robust optimization, network design, vehicle routing problems (VRP), routing and scheduling, and health care planning. She publishes in operational research journals and has more than 40 peer-reviewed publications.
She supervised 3 PhD students, all of whom received FCT scholarships, participated in the supervision of other students, actively participated in research projects, and promoted international collaborations.
She started teaching at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Coimbra and as a researcher at IT-Coimbra. She was a professor in the Mathematics Department of the University of Aveiro and a researcher at CIDMA, University of Aveiro.
