Abstract: Personal injury often results in loss of future income. When the loss is to be compensated by a lump sum payment, several issues must be addressed, including: the injured's age, inflation, interest rates, taxation, social security. The talk will show how appropriate compensation can be found in a simplified model, and will also discuss some of the contentious questions.

EWMD Portugal - European Organization for the Development of Management Skills in Women organizes its 7th Seminar "Entrepreneurship" having as guest speaker LEONOR GOMES - Entrepreneur and Founder of Easybus.
Talking about entrepreneurship is the order of the day...but it is not enough to talk......because entrepreneurship is a matter of attitude, it is a word that only makes sense when you "do, create, believe, persist, dream and make it come true, fall and get up, add, initiate, introduce change,..."
Being an entrepreneur is just one form of entrepreneurship.
The entrepreneur reveals him/herself on a daily basis in personal, social and professional life.
The true entrepreneur is a "self-starter", with a permanent need to grow, learn, enrich and be able to share knowledge and wealth, adding something to society.
The "material good" is not what drives the entrepreneur.
