Science for Global Challenges is the motto for involving the general public, especially younger students, in research activities and scientific knowledge that can respond to major global and European challenges related to environmental sustainability, health, urban climate, oceans, soil and smart cities.
Known as the biggest science night in Europe, it's an opportunity to show the impact of research on our daily lives in an accessible, fun and participatory way. Throughout the day, there will be plenty of interactions and challenges, with the chance to win tickets to visit the Natural History and Science Museum and the Botanical Garden.
On 26 September, from 17.00 to midnight, bring the family and take a walk around the Museum, the Lisbon Botanical Garden or the Príncipe Real Garden. Take part in all the activities for free and celebrate science.
ULisboa will be present with its 'Passport to Science', the objective of which is to publicise all the activities of its Schools, through its research units and groups.
