Another CSG Café-Ciência event will be held on the 20th November, at 16.00, this time on the contributions of Claudia Goldin, a researcher and Nobel Prize for Economics in 2023 laureate.
The debate will be moderated by Elisabete Miranda, an Expresso journalist and an ISEG alumna. The panel includes contributions from researchers and professors Elsa Fontainha (ISEG/CEsA/CSG) from the perspective of Economics, Sara Falcão Casaca (ISEG/ SOCIUS/CSG) from the perspective of Economic and Organisational Sociology, and António Mendonça, a professor from ISEG's Department of Economics.
This event, which is organised by the CSG, in collaboration with ISEG's Department of Economics, is part of the Science and Technology Week 2023 programme, which is promoted annually by Ciência Viva, the National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture, which this year runs from the 20th to the 26th November throughout the country.

ISEG Careers Services announces the second edition of the Challenging The Future cycle with BNP Paribas, which will take place on the 25th November, starting at 11:30.
The theme of " Education today: new frontiers?" will be discussed the main challenges and the future of education in Portugal.
What is the future of education as we approach it today? Should schools adapt to the growing role of technology in the lives of children and young people? What is the role of the family? Should curricula be adjusted to the needs of companies??
The session will be held online in Portuguese, and is open to all.

The aim of the CEsA Thinks 2023 Seminar Cycle is to promote peer-to-peer discussions on current research carried out by researchers in the field of Development, with the objective to generate contributions and criticism of the research presented.
The sessions will take place from the 9th November to the 7th December, on Thursdays*, from 18:00 to 20:00. The meetings will take place in person** in Lecture Theatre 23 (Francesinhas 1).
