ISEG will host the conference "The Future is Circular", on May 6th, starting at 08.30, in the CGD Auditorium (Quelhas, 2nd Floor).
The event is being organised by the Economic Journal, in partnership with Aquapor and Fundão Biomass Plant, and will bring together political decision-makers, business leaders and experts to debate the major challenges and opportunities facing the circular economy in Portugal.
The programme will discuss topics such as the adoption of circularity by companies, the transformation of value chains, and the role of public policies and strategies to achieve a more sustainable future and efficient resource management.

The ISEG is one of the coordinators of Webinar on 'Gender and Informal Rules in the Use and Management of Ecosystems', which will take place on 8, 9 and 15 May, online and bilingual, with simultaneous translation into Portuguese and English.
Organised by the WONDER Commonlands , in conjunction with Universidade de Lisboa and Norsk Seterkulter - Norwegian Saddle Culture Association, the webinar will debate important sustainability and gender issues, focusing on the experiences of Portuguese and Norwegian women and organizations, the potential and challenges of various eco-feminist perspectives, and sharing various proposals being developed in Wales and Vienna, concluding with the testimony of women who manage community territories in Portugal, giving voice to their perceptions of the challenges of occupying positions of power in them.

ISEG invites the whole community to take part in the workshop "Review of ISEG's Sustainability Strategy"which will take place on 22 April, from 12:00 and 14:30, in the ISEG Research (Francesinhas 2, Floor 2).
With a basic path already defined, ISEG now seeks to outline a strategic vision for the future of the School,ensuring that its approach to sustainability remains current and in line with emerging needs.
In this workshop, the progress made with ISEG's Sustainability Strategy, implemented in 2021, will be presented and there will be a debate on its revision for the coming years.

ISEG will host a debate on Circular Economy, followed by the inauguration of an exhibition concerning the Sustainable Development Goals, promoted by the United Nations, as part of the campaign 'tODxS for Development Education and Global Citizenship' implemented by the Marquês de Valle Flôr Institute and the Faith and Cooperation Foundation.
The Round Table 'Circular Economy: (un)sustainable production and consumption' will take place on March 26th, from 4:45 PM, in ISEG's Amphitheater 2 (Francesinhas 1 Building, -1 Floor), with the presence of Professor Winnie Picoto. On March 11, at 9:30 a.m., the University of Lisbon will host the event "Sustainability 360º - 1st ULisboa Sustainability Meeting", an initiative dedicated to the presentation of projects, actions and good practices developed by ULisboa Schools.
The main goal of the meeting is to promote constructive discussion on ULisboa's strategy in the field of sustainability and highlight good practices in schools, presented by the Student Unions.
During the event, ULisboa's Sustainability Network (RedeSUSTENTA) will be presented, which aims to foster cooperation between ULisboa's academic community, in order to promote a coordinated response to the pressing challenges of sustainable development and the dissemination of solutions and good practices, with a view to meeting national and international sustainability targets.
The program includes a round table to debate the 'Sustainability 360' theme.
The 'Conversations with Humor', with the participation of Pedro Teixeira da Mota, will bring moments of good cheer among the academic community. There will also be a 'Showcooking', with Chef Marco Fonseca and nutritionist Tatiana Pereira, which will explore creative and sustainable solutions in the field of healthy eating, followed by a food tasting session.
The event will also include prize money awards, which will reward the best videos and posters from the Student Unions, on the initiatives with the greatest impact in the field of sustainability.

On April 23rd (Wednesday), the last i2030 Seminar of 2025 takes place at ISEG. Climate action and its role in taking sustainable measures will be the main topic.
The keynote speaker of this session will be João Dinis, environmental coordinator at Cascais City Council. The session will take place at Amphitheater 2 (Francesinhas Building 1), from 18.30.
