On October 29will take place one more Dinner/Debate promoted by Economic Alumni, at ISEG.

The guest speaker is Isabel Mota, President of the Board of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundationwho comes to tell us about "The Role of Foundations in the 21st Century."

The debate will be moderated by Henrique Monteiro, journalist from Expresso.

The Farbernovel, a French innovation and technology consultancy, is back at ISEG to present the new WeWork" study, on October 15, at 9:30 a.m. (CGD Auditorium, Ed. Quelhas, 2nd floor).

In this study, Fabernovel explores the business model of WeWork, an American unicorn company, which has reached a valuation of 47 billion dollars, and also points out the paths to becoming a GAFAnomics® company.

Business Case Presentation - Master in Accounting, Taxation and Corporate Finance

ISEG has established itself as one of the best economics and management schools in Portugal, with a high international reputation, recognized for the quality of its graduates, the research carried out and its the impact of their activities on the surrounding community .

In this context, ISEG has established partnerships with renowned international consultancies to carry out Professional Business Cases aimed at students on the Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation and Corporate Finance. After being presented with a problem by the Consultancy, the students try to develop a solution to the issue. Subsequently, the groups with the best evaluation will have the opportunity to present the solution and discuss it with senior staff from the Consultancy on its premises. 

On October 10, at 5.30 p.m., in the Novo Banco Room - Edif. Quelhas, Deloitte will present the first business case of the 2019/2020 academic year on IFRS 16 - Leases.

Lecture | Career Redesign

 

On October 8, the Career Redesign" lecture, at 18h30, in Auditorium 2 (Ed. Quelhas, 2nd floor).

The session will be attended by Lourdes Monteiro, author of the book I want, I can and I change my careerThe workshop will present a tool that supports career reflection, identifies the critical aspects that influence a sustainable and rewarding career and will also present stories of people who have successfully changed the course of their careers.
