This scholarship is to support ISEG undergraduate students who demonstrate outstanding characteristics of initiative, motivation and commitment.

Students can apply for the Rodrigo Guimarães Clearwater Scholarship if they:

• are enrolled in one of the degrees offered by ISEG in Economia/Economics and Gestão/Management;
• have enrolled in a minimum of 60 ECTS;
• were admitted to study at ISEG with a National Entrance Exam average grade of 15 or more;
• have lived in Portugal for the last three years;
• are beneficiaries of the Social Action Services Scholarship until the 15th November, 2024. All applications undergoing evaluation by the Social Action Services up to that date will be validated by the Social Action Services.

 The applications period ends on the 18th November , 2024.

This training is designed for students, faculty, and researchers who want to deepen their research in scientific databases. This training will teach you how to perform advanced searches, combine searches, perform subject searches using Thesaurus, save results in personal folders, and create alerts.

The training will be delivered in Portuguese by Yojhana Amorin, a training specialist at EBSCO Information Services, for whom he works in Portugal and Spain.

During this workshop, Professor João Carvalho das Neves (ISEG) combines the theory and practice of Mindfulness(chi-kung) with energy management exercises, with the objective to improve your state of health and well-being and provide you with tools for your everyday life, as well as specific moments of interaction to clarify questions and doubts. Professor Carvalho das Neves is a Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher from the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness Professional Training Institute and is also an accredited Chi-Kung Instructor from the Traditional School of Chinese Medicine (Lisbon) https://cih.ucsd.edu/mbpti/mbsr-mentorship
