The Rectory of the University of Lisbon is promoting an inter-school alumni meeting, the World Café, on 27th September, at 18.00, at the Noble Hall of the University of Lisbon.
The aim is to promote involvement, sharing and dialog between everyone.

The The Order of Economists will organize will organize a Sessionof Tribute to Eduardo Catroga on the 27th June, at 17.00, at ISEG - CGD Auditorium, during which he will be awarded the title of Economist Emeritus.
This event is part of a Cycle of Tributes to outstanding Economists and Managers as part of the Commemorations of the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Order of Economists.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the The Order of Economists will award the title of Emeritus Economist to those who have distinguished themselves with a professional and civic career of recognised merit.
In this scope, the Ordem dos Economistas proposed the attribution of this Title to Manuela Ferreira Leitean ISEG alumna and an influential figure in the areas of Economics and Politics in Portugal.
The event will take place at ISEG, on the 20 June, and will be attended by the recipient of the honour as well as all those who wish to contribute to this distinction with their presence.

The award ceremony takes place at the Money Museum.
The delay in awarding the 2020 prize to Marta Rosado da Fonseca was due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The awarded work corresponds to the Master's Final Paper that was presented and discussed within the scope of the MEPP. "The award of this prize is a recognition of the quality of education provided at ISEG and of the Masters in Economics and Public Policy", says the coordinator of the MEPP, Carlos Farinha Rodriguesfor whom the award of this prize is an "honour for the School".
This initiative, which was established in 1996 and is sponsored by the Bank of Portugal, also distinguished with an Honorable Mention four other academic research works on relevant topics in the European Union

On the 28th of February, between 17:00 and 18:30, the Ordem dos Economistas and ISEG co-organize in the Salão Nobre of ISEG, a Tribute Session to Francisco Murteira Nabo, where he will be awarded the title of Economist Emeritus, in the presence of the Minister of the Sea and Economy, António Costa Silva. The event also counts on the participation of the Chairman of the Order of Economists and ISEG professor, António Mendonça.
Francisco Murteira Nabo, graduated in Economics from ISCEF (today designated ISEG), was President of the Order of Economists between 2002-2008. Among many other important positions, he was Alderman of the Lisbon City Council, Secretary of State for Transport and Minister for Social Equipment. In the area of business management, among other positions, we highlight those of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Companhia Portuguesa Rádio Marconi, of Portugal Telecom and of Galp Energia, as well as Vice-Chairman of Sorefame, Nacional and Executive Director of Ambelis and Imoleasing (1997/2012). The Economic Alumni Solidarity Program, created in 2012, has already enabled more than 75 students to be supported, helping with tuition, food, transportation and school supplies.
It is very gratifying to know that the students we help are able to finish their degrees, some of them with excellent grades, and are already inserted in the job market.
This support has only been possible due to the generosity of former students, professors, ISEG employees, and companies that have contributed financially to this cause.
The Solidarity Dinner we organize every year, only suspended in 2020, aims to raise funds for this program allowing it to continue - We try to make sure that everyone has the right to the opportunity to learn.
We invite you to join our cause, participating in the Solidarity Dinner which will take place on November 17th, 7:30pm, Zeno Lounge at Casino Estoril, followed by a show with the participation of several artists and former ISEG students.

This program is not intended to replace social action in higher education, so it does not have the character of regular and/or permanent support to students.
We seek to ensure that everyone has the right to the opportunity to learn. We fight so that no talent from ISEG goes to waste!
Procedures for applying to the AES 2022/2023 Program:
IMPORTANT: The application is re-evaluated every semester, taking into consideration the students' school performance.
NOTE: Students who have previously received this support must reapply, submitting the updated form and documents.
