EMAPI 2017 - International Conference on Ecology and Management of Alien Plant Invasions




The EMAPI 2017 - International Conference on Ecology and Management of Alien Plant Invasions - will take place in LisbonPortugal, September 4th-8th, 2017organized by cE3c - Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes .

EMAPI 2017 aims to become a benchmark event, by gathering a large number of scientists, managers and policy makers from around the world, who will interact and explore ways to face global and regional challenges presented by alien plant invasions, for the benefit of the present and future generations.

Important deadlines
- Abstract submission: until March 31
- Abstract decision communication: until April 30
- Early bird registration: until May 1
- Late bird registration: until June 30

International Conference on Computational Finance 2017


We are very pleased to announce the  International Conference on Computational Finance 2017 - ICCF 2017 which will take place on the 4-8 September. The conference is  organized by  ISEG and  CEMAPRE - University of Lisbon.

Two prestigious journals, both indexed on  ISI and SCOPUS  welcome high quality papers, accepted after review:
- AMF - Applied Mathematical Finance
- IJCM - International Journal of Computer Mathematics

ICCF 2017
 is the second of a biannual series of international conferences in  Computational Finance launched by the consortium of the European project F.P. 7 project entitled  Marie Curie ITN STRIKE - Novel Methods in Computational Finance 2013-2016.  The first edition took place in December 2015 at the University of Greenwich.

Lisbon ICCF 2017 covers a large number of topics and offers several Thematic Sessions and Mini-symposia for the presentation of papers. A booklet containing extended abstracts/short papers will be published by September 4 (see Proceedings).

7th Conference of the European Survey Research Association (ESRA)



The 7 ' Conference of the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 17 ' to 21 st July 2017.

The conference will be hosted by Universidade de Lisboa, jointly with ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, the Centre for Research in Social Sciences and Management (CSG) and the Institute for Social Sciences (ICS).

ESRA has confirmed Edith de Leeuw  (Utrecht University) and Beth-Ellen Pennell  (University of Michigan) as keynote speakers for the ESRA 2017 conference!
