The guest of the May 5, 2017 session of the CEsA/ISEG/ULisboa Development Studies Seminar Series is Wendy Wolford, who will address agrarian reform, in particular the issue of the dispute between the Brazilian government and the Landless Movement. This is the largest and best organized rural social movement in Brazilian history.
Wendy Wolford is Professor of Development Sociology in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University (USA).
