Goal
The goal of the Economic Alumni Mentoring Program is to provide the best possible placement for ISEG graduates in the labor market, creating unique learning and leadership opportunities that are fundamental to building successful career paths.
Through this program, Mentees have the opportunity to be accompanied in a continuous and very personal way during the process of integration into the labor market. They can learn directly from those who have already reached high professional levels, and who are willing to share their time and knowledge to support Mentees in their personal and professional development process.
Mentors have the opportunity to "sponsor" an ISEG alumnus, and have the rewarding experience of developing their leadership skills and a true relationship of sharing, mentoring, and friendship.

Almost two years after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, technology and the digital transition have proven to be a valuable ally in societies by allowing millions of individuals around the world to stay connected to each other and their organizations, exchanging information and working together, causing the economy to adapt quickly. Today we live in a more digital world and technology and innovation will continue to play a decisive role in new ways of working over the coming years. But what can we expect from the contribution of the digital transition to Portugal's future? Is our labor market prepared to deal with the successive waves of technological innovation? Are our companies and universities aware of the role of technology in preparing our future? How does Portugal compare with other more developed economies in the field of technology and digital transition and what lessons can we learn to improve our growth?
These are some of the issues to be discussed in the next webinar organized by Alumni Económicas.

The Economic Alumni is once again organising the webinar 'The Competitiveness of the Portuguese Economy', on September 29th, at 19h000, with the guests António Saraiva, Jorge Magalhães Correia, Miguel St. Aubyn, Paulo Moita de Macedo and Luís Nazaré.
We are coming out of lockdown and now is the time to evaluate the performance of the Portuguese economy in recent years.
But what's more important is that we look ahead to what needs to be done in the near future, particularly with the tools we have at our disposal to face the challenges of the future. And, along the way, to rethink the competitive model of the Portuguese economy. Where are our biggest problems in terms of competitiveness? What threats and opportunities do we have to face when compared to our international competitors? What will need to be done if the country is to regain a sustained long-term growth path?
To lead this discussion, Alumni Económicas has challenged a panel of excellence, and now invites you to take part in this important discussion in the next major Alumni Económicas webinar.
