Economic Solidarity Alumni 2021/2022

Economic Alumni - ISEG's Alumni Association, with support from ISEGISEG, aware of its social responsibility and the difficult period we are going through due to the epidemic outbreak of COVID-19, continues to support students enrolled in the 1st cycle of ISEG (general regime) who prove to be in financial difficulties through the SOLIDARITY ECONOMY ALUMNI PROGRAM.

The ALUMNI ECONOMICS SOLIDARITY PROGRAM, created in 2012, has already supported more than 70 students, helping with the payment of tuition fees, food, transportation and school supplies, through donations from Alumni, Professors, ISEG Employees and Companies.

This program is not intended to replace Social Action in Higher Education, and therefore does not provide regular and/or permanent support to students.

We seek to ensure that everyone has the right to the opportunity to learn. We fight so that no talent from ISEG goes to waste!

Webinar | The Competitiveness of the Portuguese Economy

The Economic Alumni is once again organising the webinar 'The Competitiveness of the Portuguese Economy', on September 29th, at 19h000, with the guests António Saraiva, Jorge Magalhães Correia, Miguel St. Aubyn, Paulo Moita de Macedo and Luís Nazaré.

We are coming out of lockdown and now is the time to evaluate the performance of the Portuguese economy in recent years.

But what's more important is that we look ahead to what needs to be done in the near future, particularly with the tools we have at our disposal to face the challenges of the future. And, along the way, to rethink the competitive model of the Portuguese economy. Where are our biggest problems in terms of competitiveness? What threats and opportunities do we have to face when compared to our international competitors? What will need to be done if the country is to regain a sustained long-term growth path?

To lead this discussion, Alumni Económicas has challenged a panel of excellence, and now invites you to take part in this important discussion in the next major Alumni Económicas webinar.
