Welcome to ISEG! We are very proud to welcome our new undergraduate, Master’s degree and PhD degree students. From 30 August to 4 September, we have a full week of orientation activities planned.
Each cycle of studies has its own programme, especially designed to mark the beginning of this new academic phase.
👨👩👧Welcome, Families!
Sunday, 30 August, at 10:00 a.m., ISEG is hosting a welcome session for the parents and family members of new undergraduate students. The event will be led by the Dean of ISEG and will include an institutional presentation followed by a guided tour of the campus. This event aims to provide a better understanding of the School and to reinforce the role of families as an integral part of ISEG’s academic community.

📝Welcome, Undergraduates
On 31 August, there will be a general welcome session for new undergraduate students, with integration activities and a peddy-paper to explore ISEG. On 1 September, the new students will get to know ISEG XLAB and the degree coordinators in lecture sessions for the respective courses. This will be followed by the ISEG Action Day - 2 September - a day off campus entirely dedicated to leisure and sporting activities.

🍹Welcome, Master's degree students
Days September 2 and 3, we will have the welcome activities for the new Master's degrees students given in Portuguese and English, respectively. In addition to the welcome session by the Dean and ISEG Services, the new students can look forward to campus tours and a cocktail party to relax and socialise with their new colleagues and faculty.

🧑🎓Welcome, PhD degree students
On 1 September, we welcome the new PhD degree students in the late afternoon with a general welcome session, followed by a classroom session for each programme with its respective coordination team. The day ends on a high note: with a cocktail reception, appetizers, drinks and music. In addition to promoting networking among students and coordinators, this will also be an informal opportunity to socialise and share experiences.

🌍Welcome, International Students
International students participating in exchange programmes (such as Erasmus+) will also be welcomed at a session hosted by the Dean's Office ISEG and the International Mobility Office on 3 September. After the session, there will be an opportunity for making connections and getting into the ISEG spirit.
🎉 Welcome Party
The week will end with the ISEG Welcome Party, an event open to the entire academic community - with music and a good time to get the academic year off to the best possible start. Put this in your calendar now! Friday, 4 September, starting at 6:00 p.m., in the Patio das Francesinhas.
