As part of the International Day of Women in Engineering, on 23 June, the Gender, Labour, and Power Observatory has released updated data on the evolution of the gender pay gap in the professions associated with ICT, Engineering and STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
The datasheet now published - "Gender Pay Gap in STEM Professions: developments over the last decade" - is by ISEG professors Amélia Bastos, João Cruz and Sara Falcão Casaca, and presents a detailed analysis of the pay gap between women and men in these professional areas over the last decade.
This contribution is part of the Observatory's ongoing work to promote gender equality in the labour market and is available for consultation: here.
