On January 30, 2020, the new Competition to Encourage Individual Scientific Employment - 3rd Edition funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology.
As part of this competition, an information session will be held at ISEG on February 6th (Thursday) at 3pm (Auditorium 2, Ed. Quelhas, 2nd floor). Admission is free.

The following reference categories are considered:
- Junior researcher: who have held a doctorate for 5 years or less, have little post-doctoral research experience or have no post-doctoral scientific curriculum in the scientific area to which they are applying.
- Assistant researcher: PhD holders for more than 5 years, with a relevant curriculum in the scientific area to which they are applying, but with limited scientific independence.
- Principal investigator: PhD holders for more than 5 years, with a relevant curriculum in the scientific area to which they are applying, demonstrating scientific independence in the last 3 years.
- Coordinating researcher: who have held a doctorate for more than 5 years, hold a habilitado or agregado title in Portugal, have a curriculum of high merit in the scientific area to which they are applying, demonstrate scientific independence and have evidence of leadership in the scientific area to which they are applying.
The competition is open from January 30, 2020 until 17:00 (Lisbon time) on February 26th, 2020.
