João Paulo Carvalho holds a degree in Economics from the Instituto Superior de Economia (now ISEG) and a Master's degree in Business Sciences (Management Information Systems) from the Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa (now ISCTE-IUL). He has been CEO and partner of Quidgest since its creation in 1988, and strategic coordinator of Research and Technological Development (R&D) activities. He was mainly responsible for the development of the technology Genius. He is also responsible for Quidgest's Quality System.
