WORKSHOP | Experiences "Natal à Portuguesa"

12 Dec from 18:00 to 18:01
Restaurant Quelhas 6

Organized by: Aproxima

Christmas is synonymous with memories, tradition and sharing. Here and around the world.

But more than that, Christmas is smells and tastes that remind us of other times. And other places.

This is how Portuguese Christmas comes about. What do you eat? How is it prepared? What are the traditions and rituals? What was it like in the past and what is it like now?

Because the celebration of Christmas begins with its preparation, this is a very special experience, where all the pleasure and care in the confection of a typical Portuguese Christmas meal is shared by someone who already has a lot of practice in these fields. Guided by the cook Conceição, who reveals the magic of each ingredient and the history of each typical Portuguese Christmas dish, this is an informal moment of learning, exchange of experiences and conviviality, which brings us closer to Portuguese culture and where the storyteller Ana Laje takes us back to childhood, with her engaging Christmas imagery.
