Biography
Yi Wang is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Management. She holds a PhD in Accounting from Durham University (United Kingdom), an MA in Accounting and Finance (with Distinction and Dean's Honours List) from The University of Melbourne (Australia), and a BA in Accounting from Xiamen University (China). Yi's research focuses on corporate reporting and corporate governance, with a particular emphasis on the role of managerial incentives in shaping the quality of corporate disclosures and the resulting economic consequences across various contexts. Yi has teaching experience in a variety of accounting courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Financial Accounting, Financial and ESG Reporting, Modern Accounting Research, and Auditing
