'From Dream to Freedom', the Alumni Christmas Concert, by the Orquestra Académica da Universidade de Lisboa (OAUL) and the Coro de Câmara da Universidade de Lisboa (CCUL), will take place in the Aula Magna Great Hall, Universidade de Lisboa, on the 14th December 2024, at 21.00 , being part of the Music at Universidade de Lisboa programme.
The concert will be held in partnership with the Universidade de Lisboa Alumni Association - Alumni ULisboa, with the theme of Freedom. This concert embraces Freedom in its most visible manifestation, through the art of movement, which in itself is a sign of human liberation. However, it goes even further, as it looks inwards - we sing, we pray, and we ask, in order that "... by achieving happiness, each and everyone can move freely along the path that is destined for them".
Entrance is dependent on the presentation of an invitation.
Members of the ULisboa community can pick up their invitation at ULisboa stores of the ULisboa Rectorate, or at Caleidoscópio, by the deadline of the 13th December, subject to availability.

Web of Science is a multidisciplinary database that includes more than 20,000 academic journals from all over the world. These journals have been selected by Clarivate according to very strict quality criteria in order to provide reliable information to the research community.

On 5th December, from 16.00 to 18.00, the Library will be holding another training session. This time, the topic will be Research Academy: Qualitative Data Analysis Software: exploring the possibilities of MaxQDA.
This workshop provides an introduction to MaxQDA, focusing on its main features for analysing qualitative data. Participants will gain proficiency in creating projects, importing data, developing code systems, and coding segments. The session will also cover advanced features, such as note writing, automatic coding, visual tools, and data export.
The training will take place both in-person and online (Santander Room, Quelhas), and will be delivered in English by ISEG professor Inês Domingues Figueira de Faria.
