Considering that, in the opening notice of the Call for Individual PhD, PhD in Companies and Postdoctoral Fellowships - 2013, there are special application criteria that presuppose that the candidate proves to have obtained an academic degree until the "closing date of the call" and considering also that the "closing date of the call" referred to in the same opening notice is ambiguous, having created several doubts, the FCT clarifies the following:
(1) All references to "closing date of the competition" in the call notice for individual doctoral, company doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships are deemed to refer to December 31, 2013.
2. As such, all the requirements for obtaining an academic degree present in the aforementioned opening notice or in any supporting documentation produced specifically within the scope of this competition are considered fulfilled, by the candidate, provided that they occur until December 31, 2013.
