Next Saturday the 18th JanuaryISEG is holding a free workshop which aims to help participants improve their presentation skillsThey were supported by internationally experienced mentors who volunteered to help each of the participants.
This workshop is useful for the whole school community, particularly for presentations of academic work.
The mentors of this workshop are organizers of various technical events and technical communities (in Portugal and beyond), and are always on the lookout for new speakers.
By the end of the workshop you'll be an expert in giving public presentations!
General information:
- Pfixing the theme before the event (think about what you want to present, prepare a list of ideas and even images);
- On the day itself, there will be around 2 hours of presentations by the mentors;
- Each set of participants will then be helped by one or more mentors, giving short rehearsal presentations and receiving constructive feedback;
- Afterwards, each participant will give a public presentation to all those attending the event during the afternoon (lasting between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on the total number of registrants), again receiving general feedback;
- After the event, there will be a free dinner for the participants.
